Roller chainnumbers
ANSI roller chain: the number without its last digit is the pitch in eighths of an inch. 40 is 4/8 = 1/2 in, 60 is 3/4 in, 80 is 1 in, 100 is 1 1/4 in, 120 is 1 1/2 in.

The last digit: 0 is a standard roller chain, 1 a lightweight chain (41), 5 a rollerless chain (25 and 35).
A suffix -2 or -3 is the number of strands (double, triple); H is the heavy series with thicker side plates.
Length is counted in links (pins). A chain with an odd number of links needs an offset (half) link, and connecting links are ordered separately: keep them as their own spares.
ISO chains such as 08B or 10B follow other rules; the app keeps them as typed.
Example: 60-2 with 120 links is a double-strand chain of 3/4 in (19,05 mm) pitch, 2,286 m long.
