Effective 12 October 2026. Your shelf stays on your phone; this notice says what a request holds and your rights.

Who is responsible
IMCI INGENIERIA MANTENIMIENTO Y COMPONENTES INDUSTRIALES S.A.S. (NIT 901.942.681-6, Cámara de Comercio Aburrá Sur, La Estrella, Antioquia) publishes this app and this notice and is the data controller for what it receives from you. Questions and requests: nathabarrera17@gmail.com, +57 320 653 4515 or +57 305 478 8937.

What this notice covers
The Android app IMCI Critical Spares Shelf and its website, including the decoder and the reorder calculator on the website. Both work without an account.

What the app does
It keeps your own shelf of critical spares: your machines with their class, the spares fitted on them, minimum and maximum, counts, receipts and uses, and the requests for quotation you send IMCI. It has no internet permission.

What the app stores on your phone
Machines (tag, name, area, impact and failure frequency); spares (designation, decoded details, maker on the part, bin, quantities, lead-time estimate, yearly use, notes and motor nameplates); counts, receipts and uses with their date and, if you type it, who counted; the basket being prepared; the requests you confirmed as sent; and your settings.

Data about people
The app needs no personal data. Two optional fields hold names: who counted (it never leaves the phone) and the contact name and phone you add to a request (it goes to IMCI only in a request you send). For the people you name, you are responsible under Ley 1581 de 2012.

Counts and stock
Bins, stock, counts, receipts, uses and who counted are your plant's own records. They never go into a request.

How a request is sent
Through apps you choose on your phone: the share sheet, your email app (addressed to nathabarrera17@gmail.com) or a phone call to +57 320 653 4515 or +57 305 478 8937. Those apps handle the message under their own terms. The app asks afterwards whether you sent it and keeps the request only if you say yes.

What IMCI does with a request
It uses the request and your contact details to prepare a quotation and, if you accept one, to supply the parts. It keeps them only as long as that takes and the law requires, and then deletes them.

No accounts, tracking or advertising
There is no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising identifier, no crash reporting to a server and no cookies on the website.

Permissions
The app asks for no permission at install and has no internet access.

Sensitive data
The app never asks for sensitive data (Ley 1581 de 2012 art. 5). Do not write it in notes or names.

Security
The app's data stays in its private storage on the phone. Android backups of the app are switched off. No server copy exists.

Keeping and deleting
Your shelf stays until you delete it. Deleting a spare removes its counts and history; uninstalling removes everything the app stored.

Your rights
Under Ley 1581 de 2012 art. 8 you may know, update and correct your data; ask for proof of the authorisation you gave; be told how your data has been used; complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) once you have made a query or claim to us; revoke the authorisation or ask for deletion when the law allows; and access your data free of charge.

Queries and claims
Write to nathabarrera17@gmail.com or call +57 320 653 4515. Queries are answered within 10 working days, extendable once by 5 (art. 14). Claims are answered within 15 working days, extendable once by 8 (art. 15); if a claim is incomplete, we ask you within 5 working days to complete it, and if it is not completed within 2 months it is considered withdrawn. Before going to the SIC you must first make the query or claim to us (art. 16).

Changes to this notice
Effective 12 October 2026. If this notice changes, the app and the website show the new date and what changed.
